StuHefner crashed the NOVA Models Xmas Party @ trendy Match Lounge Bar in Pitt Street Auckland recently and sachayed with all the wonderfully pretty people (until the free champagne ran out...)

Actually the theme was 'White Trash' and he fitted in perectly!

Firstly thanks to Nova Owner, Director, Caroline Barley for the hospitality. Oh what a night, December 2005 (been waiting all year to use that line!)

Arriving in time for one set wonders 'The Tarts,' the scene was set for a night of trashy debauchery, and none were disappointed. I didn't see any nibbles on offer so had to make do with a continuously full glass of bubbles. Two young nubile things grooving through the crowd ensured glasses were at maximum totage at all times.

Maybe I missed the food, or maybe it's true what they say about Models and their ability to live on a diet of champers and coke. Whatever, it was hardly missed until 4am, when my local Shell servo creamed the notes from my wallet.

I had learned of the evenings celebrations from Redken Area Manager Kelly Buchanan and had no difficulty gaining entry to this exclusive bash. Already, it seems, the mere mention of my name turns Doormen to putty in my hands!

'The Tarts' played a 40 minute set of funked up garage band originals and I recommend you catch them any chance you get. Even if it means dropping my name on a door somewhere to gain entry.

But don't come bitchin' to me if you find yourself beaten unconcious and dropped down an elevator shaft by some large unfriendly bouncer type.

The rest of the evening got a little blurry after my second bottle of Nautilus but the White Trash tunes are still playing in my head:

Poison, G'n'R, Motley Crue et al had me doing the Unskinny Bop all the way to Paradise CIty while that Sweet Child O' Mine learnt Every Rose Has It's Thorn from resident G.P. Dr. Feelgood.

There were Girls, Girls, Girls everywhere and I'm sure I saw them Smoking In The Boys Room...

Yep, I'm definitely a product of the 80's!
