"Frontline are the most important rap group in New Zealand, period" - P-Money.

David Dallas (aka Con Psy) and producer 41 (Nick Maclaren) are the two man team known as Frontline. The combination of Dave's masterful lyrical ability and 41's superbly crafted beats makes for some of the most intelligent and vital hip-hop music to arise from these shores. Not about hype or flashy gimmicks, these two strike you immediately as true musical artists. Their music is a cut above the typical New Zealand rap release.

The pair have amassed a following far beyond the norm for debut artists through their regular live gigs and consistent independent releases. Their full length 'What You Expect?' street album moved over 1000 copies with no formal means of distribution. The b-net radio hits 'Come and Get Me', 'How It Is' and more recently 'Screwloose' have all served to build a steady buzz around the group over the last year. Not to mention the duo's contributions to a number of major hip-hop releases in recent times.

Who could forget Dave's verse on the classic 'Not Many - The Remix'? Add to that his contributions to P-Money's Magic City album '321 Remix', “Get Back' and 'Get Up Slow'. Producer 41 is no slacker either, composing a number of tracks for local acts including the Deceptikonz 'Stop, Drop 'N' Roll Remix' and Savage among others.

With their incredible new songs and a strong commitment to music of the highest quality Frontline are indeed the most important rap group in New Zealand. Get ready.
