It wasn't just for da ladeez!

Expecting a lot of black singlets and gumboots I was pleasantly surprised to find that FARMERS is a department store.

My relief that I wasn't attending a knees-up for a group of cow-cockeys in need of serious plastic surgery translated into a night of fun and frivolity!

Actually, that could have been the result of much elbow bending getting the complimentary beverages raised upwards.

We had samples lavished on us, sprayed with smellies for the new season and entertained by silly games.

TheHef's pick for '06 is Calvin Klein's subtle 'Summer' fragrance for men. Another nasalgasm was sparked by the new offering from Joop (pron. yoop) titled 'Jump' (not pron. yump).

It wasn't long after I won the coveted 'FARMERS Air Guitar '05' trophy that all concept of reality waned into a chasm of celebratrory imbibification! I'm sure I ended up in a sleazy motel with Paris Hilton who had popped in for a glass of bubbly after hearing her favourite paparazzi nazi (that's moi) was in the hizouse!

I don't think I did anything unruly (sorry if I did). No doubt I'll find out if no more invitations arrive in the mail!
